A Musical Journey

A Boost to My Ego is an electronic musician based in Nashville, Tennessee. A Boost to My Ego started making music in 2010 when his family got a new iMac. In 2015 he listened to Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, and that really got him motivated to start making music. He vowed in 2016 to create an album that would be different in terms of production. He created Mental Pain from the beginning of 2016 to August 2017, right before he went to college. He released this first mixtape on September 8, 2017 and his second mixtape, which is MORE PEOPLE MORE BEEF, on Juneteenth 2020. His third mixtape, SUBWAY, was released on Christmas Eve of the same year. Afterwards in 2021, he released a FULL COLLECTION EP and I’M SORRY, I KEEP ON REFLECTING as personal projects, hoping to relate to the masses. In 2022, he went hard releasing DESCENT INTO MADNESS and NEVER DIE, as well as the FUN project. A Boost to My Ego released TRAMUATISMO at the beginning of 2023 as a statement that he was going to be successful. He released I HATE THE DEVIL to help him get out of a dark place. His single “ON A RUSH” was enough motivation to help him through life, and it was included on his EP called BLACK released in August 2023. His grind and relentless work ethic keeps his music new and fresh. A Boost to My Ego is dedicated to the uplifting of fulfilling your dreams.
